1. What Set Ride is
Set Ride is a technology platform that lets people ("Clients") find independent transport providers ("Drivers") for rides and package deliveries. Set Ride is a marketplace and middleman only. Set Ride is not a transport company, courier, carrier, employer or agent of any Driver or Client.
2. No responsibility for trips or packages
- Every ride or delivery is an agreement made directly between the Client and the Driver.
- Set Ride is not responsible or liable for the safety of passengers, the condition, loss, theft, damage, delay or contents of any package, the conduct of any user, accidents, injuries, death, or any disputes about prices or payments.
- Set Ride does not set, control or guarantee prices. The price is agreed between Client and Driver.
- Payment for trips is made directly between Client and Driver. Set Ride does not hold trip money.
- To the fullest extent allowed by law, you use Set Ride at your own risk and release Set Ride from all claims arising from trips or deliveries.
3. Accounts
- You must give your real name and phone number and keep your password safe.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, receive repeated complaints or put others at risk.
4. Drivers
- Drivers are independent. They are responsible for their own licence, vehicle papers, insurance, taxes and roadworthiness.
- Drivers must upload true photos of themselves, their licence/ID and their vehicle. Approval does not mea Set Ride guarantees a Driver.
- Drivers may be required to pay a weekly platform fee set for their town and vehicle type. Unpaid fees mean the Driver is hidden and cannot receive requests.
- Drivers must confirm deliveries with the receiver's 4-digit code and must refuse prohibited items.
5. Clients, senders and receivers
- Treat drivers with respect and pay the agreed price.
- Senders confirm that packages do not contain any prohibited items and are fully responsible for package contents and for giving correct receiver details.
- Receivers should only share their delivery code when they have the package in hand.
6. Ratings and complaints
Ratings and complaints help keep the community safe. Set Ride may review complaints and act on accounts, but is not obliged to resolve disputes or compensate anyone.
7. Emergencies
The Emergency button is a convenience only. In danger, always contact local police or emergency services directly.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Set Ride means you accept the updated terms.
9. Contact
For questions, contact Set Ride support through the app.
